Great Beginnings is a grant program graciously funded by First 5 San Joaquin to provide services to children when there is a concern regarding their development but they do not qualify for state or federally funded programs. UCP also provides therapy at several local school districts. Assistive Technology services are incorporate into all programs as needed. In 2006 UCP opened the Save Mart CARES Sensory Integration Clinic through a generous grant from the S-Mart Cares Foundation with additional contributions from invaluable community partners and donors. This clinic provides the ideal surroundings to assist children in overcoming sensory processing difficulties.
