UCP has a current temporary position open in our Supported Employment department. Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the JD will apply techniques of job development and marketing to provide individualized job skills training and placement for persons with varying disabilities in community sites.
UCP has a part time opening for a Speech Language Pathologist (CFY candidate may be considered) to provide early intervention services to children ages 0-5 in their homes or natural environments. Candidates should have good time management skills, work well with parents and be knowledgeable in the field of Speech Pathology. This position requires the candidate to travel. Salary is competitive and mileage is reimbursed.
UCP has an opening for a FT- Occupational Therapist to work in school settings providing services to school age children and possibly providing early intervention services
30 hours per week- part time (2 position available)
Our S.A.I.L. department is seeking a part time employee to work up to 30 hours a week to assist in developing and implementing support service activities and independent living trainings, management plans, supported living assessments, etc; carry out specific skills training plans for participants as instructed; assists participants in all personal care needs e.g., toilet needs, feeding and hygiene while in the home; assist participants with their mobility and communication needs; identify participant needs; develop natural and community supports; assist in medical appointments and health needs; maintain detailed records of services provided and preparation of reports; participate in regular staff meetings and maintain constant communication with supervisor(s);carry out other duties as assigned.
To work with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of special needs. This person will work with consumers either in their homes or taking them out on recreational and educational activities in the community.
